Yes, very nice beer garden with enough space. On our last visit in mid-September 2020, however, it took a long time until we were brought a simple meal (french fries and currywurst). In addition, it has become disproportionately expensive, as some others have already written here (5.40 euros for a wine spritzer?).

Great view and friendly team. Eating ... is just a beer garden. But 5 slices of baguette with a little aioli for 5 € - I would have expected some decoration, well - as I said: it's the great view 😉 and the delicious Mühlen Kölsch

A great place to relax. Very friendly staff. Here you can have a delicious currywurst and other little things. There are cakes too. You sit very nicely under trees with a direct view of the nearby Rhine. On the other side of the Rhine lies Oberwinter. There is also delicious beer or coffee.

The RheinAir beer garden has been an insider tip so far. It offered a nice view of the Rhine, good food and the prices were okay. Today it is different: the good food and the nice view have remained. However, the prices are so absurdly high that RheinAir is removed from my insider tip list.

The beer garden is beautifully located on the Rhine. You get the feeling of being on vacation. The portion of fries was very large and tasty. The side salad is ok too. It took a long time until we had our meal. But it was also Sunday afternoon and accordingly full. If you have the time, highly recommended.

Long queues to get to the beer garden, although lots of tables were free. Staff was either overwhelmed or poorly briefed on how to behave or both. Excessive prices and that with quite primitive, makeshift sanitary facilities. Due to the long waiting time, you had ample opportunity to examine them, as they were in the immediate vicinity of the entrance. Probably nice to be stared at by those waiting when going to the toilet.

So far clear 5 stars. Top location right on the Rhine. Friendly service. That is still the case. Unfortunately the prices have increased so much this year that I have to subtract (at least) 2 stars. It is not expensive! It's got ridiculously expensive in my opinion! More expensive than anything comparable in the area. I can accept a moderate increase in prices. But that is no longer moderate and the height is completely disproportionate!

Great location! Unfortunately, the prices are now so excessive that I will probably not visit this beer garden again this year. It's a pity! I think because of the pricing, many will probably look for an alternative.

Great place on the Rhine to relax, chill out, etc. Nice dishes and small starters with a well-tended drinks menu. This year - 2020 - prices have risen at the big city level.

Nice beer garden on the Rhine. We sat comfortably here and enjoyed the evening. We'll definitely be back.

Best fries on the Rhein

In our short vacation we were 3x in the beer garden, the food was very good, the service was very friendly .... only in the kitchen was there a big problem on our 3rd day of visit. We didn't get food at the same time, one had already eaten then the next one only got his order. And that wasn't just the case with us, we could see the same at other tables. Too bad.

The stars are for the great location and the friendly staff, without these factors I would have given 1-2 stars. Unfortunately it has become very expensive and the quality of the food has deteriorated. A currywurst with fries over 9 euros, a bottle of water 6.90 euros, cappuccino 4 euros ... it is definitely not worth it to me. Too bad, because actually I was a regular guest here.

Great for relaxing, there are even loungers😁. There are plenty of sun and shade spots. Operation is quick and attentive. Very quiet area with a view of the Rhine.

Calm and chill Beer Garden with some basic food choices in addition to a very reasonable selection of beer and wine for a seasonal place. Perfect stop if you are biking up and down the Rhine!

Tolle Location

Wonderful little beer garden on the Rhine with a great view. Many tables, but most were full when we arrived. Parking is also limited, but it is worth it to sit here in the late evening and enjoy a nice cold beverage.
